7:00am The Deva Breakfast Show
Chris Stevens presents the most informative start to the day, with as much news, travel, weather and sports information as you'll need. Travel bulletins are every 20 minutes, including our unique "Jambuster" service where a Deva reporter monitors the city centre hold-ups, and then advises listeners on the best routes into the city.
10:00am The Morning Show
A mix of music, chat and local information eases you through the morning. Presented by Jon Carline, the Morning Show includes What's On information and the JobSpot. Jon also promises to make sure you know of the best bargains in town, and he will play the very best music from the 60's through to the 90's.
1:00pm The Afternoon Slot
Listen to Deva in the afternoons and you'll be treated to a mix of the best music, the friendliest chat and the chance to win free Laser Quest tickets - free of charge! The show is presented by Chris Rick, who always has a surprise up his sleeve. And on Mondays and Wednesdays you can hear the latest happenings in "Eden Vale", our very own soap opera.
4:00pm Drivetime with Dave Maguire
Oh yez! Oh yez! Oh no! Dave Maguire, Chester's Town Crier, is definately the loudest man in town. We usually get to Ellesmere Port and Wrexham, but with Dave behind the mike we should get round the world! Dave will be entertaining you with travel, sport, music, What's on information and an awful lot more.
6:00pm Deva Tonight
Alison Mann, Rosalind Tennant and the Deva Radio news team bring you 30 minutes of news, current affairs and features designed for people in Chester. Our team of reporters are poised to dig deep into the stories of the day, and present an informative, lively news magazine programme each evening.
6:30am Talking Chester
Every evening Talking Chester looks at the issues and events happening in Chester. It includes careers programmes, documentaries and information on disabled issues. Friday evening includes a weekend sports preview, so if you want to know what's happening in Chester, then tune in! However, if you want lots of music...
7:00pm Deva By Request
An hour of continuous music on Deva Radio. If there's a song that you wish to hear then call Deva Radio on 01244 325555 and we'll play your song on that evening's show. From soul to sixty's, rock to rap - If you want to hear it, you'll hear it on Deva By Request.
8:00pm Specialist Music Programmes
Deva Radio is aiming to appeal to as many people as possible, and as part of this we will be including a number of specialist music formats. Monday sees new releases, whilst Tuesday has songs from the 40's through to the 60's. The Arts File is on Wednesdays, and Robert Proctor has requests and dedications on each Thursday. The Chart Show with Dave Barker can be heard each Friday, and there's plenty more specialist music at the weekends.
10.00pm The Late Matthew Smith Show
Matthew Smith (or Smut to his friends!!) has promised us that he won't play quite as much Belinda Carlisle as he did in 1994! With many guests to talk about sport, politics and religion and anything else he can think of, Matthew will be mixing the best student music with the greatest classic songs.
12.00am The Danger Zone
This slot features the presenters that we don't dare broadcast during the day! Robin, Graham, Rob and Simon will be sharing their opinions across Chester, and the shows will include comedy slots and a whole host of strange characters. So stay awake, switch over from tacky love music, and prepare to be shocked!
